KEARNEY – The Kearney Legion Baseball program is set to host tryouts next week for local athletes aiming to compete over the summer.
Tryouts for the Kearney Legion Baseball programs will be held on Monday and Tuesday, May 13-14 from 4 PM to 6 PM at Kearney’s Memorial Field. Any athlete or individual planning to tryout for the teams should plan to attend.
The Kearney Legion teams will begin their season a week later, with the Misko Seniors and Pinnacle Bank Post 52 Juniors hosting North Platte in their opening contest at Memorial Field on Wednesday, May 22. The Jersey Juniors and Seniors teams will welcome Overton at 5 PM on Tuesday, May 21.
